One afternoon, a dog named Ricky was walking in the forest. Ricky was hungry and
tired after playing all morning. His stomach was growling. As he walked, Ricky saw a piece
of meat on the side of the road. Happily, he picked up the meat and walked away.
Ricky came to a river. His house was on the other side of the river. He had to cross a
bridge. While crossing the bridge, he noticed something in the water. He saw another dog on
the water. That dog had a piece of meat in his mouth!
Ricky became greedy. He wanted the other dog’s meat too. However, he did not know
that it was his own reflection. Ricky opened his mouth to grab the meat. The meat was carried
away by the flowing water. Ricky learned an important lesson: “Always be contented with
what you have.”
