Cloud-to-Cloud Backup
Ensuring data recovery
My name’s Carl, and I’m a technical trainer with Barracuda Campus. This is the Foundation course for Barracuda
Cloud-to-Cloud Backup, and in this session, at restoring and exporting in Cloud-to-Cloud Backup.
Cloud-to-Cloud
Backup
Another alternative to restore is available through exporting objects from Cloud-to-Cloud Backup. This would be
done usually to transfer objects after browsing the calendar, browsing the folder structures or searching for
specific identifiers or keywords.
Once an export is launched, its progress can be tracked from the reports area in cloud-to-cloud backup. Once
the export has been prepared by the background processes, it will be available to download via a link in this
Reports area.

Cloud-to-Cloud
Backup
One of the main distinguishing elements of Cloud-to-Cloud Backup is the extra protection it offers to Microsoft
365, with unlimited retention for data consisting of individual files, content categories, users and groups.
To enable restoration of individual objects and definition of particular user-defined subsets, Cloud-to-Cloud
Backup has powerful search and filtering functionality. This helps offer a granular, and flexible approach to
backup and restoring data.
And a big factor in making Cloud-to-Cloud Backup so useful is that with ongoing optimization, recovery time for
files continues to improve.

EP01 – Barracuda Email Protection - Foundation
In addition to object-grouped backup and restore processes, Cloud-to-Cloud Backup allows for broader
grouping based on aggregated collections of data – restore points. In the user interface, the “Backups From”
allows browsing by calendar day.
It allows the restoration of various restore points, applying especially to user mailboxes in Exchange and
OneDrive, including archive mailboxes, full site collections in Sharepoint and, of course, Teams.
