Each SpaceLoft mezzanine is designed to fit

The spring hinge feature assures that
both doors will return to the closed posi-
tion when not held open, increasing
employee safety. Doors are constructed
from the same durable materials used for
mezzanine guardrail systems, and are
furnished in square tube or round designs,
depending on the railing type selected.

The newly re-designed power safety gate adds efficiency, safety, and
convenience to mezzanine material handling applications.
Forklift operators can open the motorized gate by remote control, reducing
labor and time. The improved power sliding gate spans a total length of 10’-0”
feet when closed, and allowing a clear opening of 5’-8”. The gate requires a
total footprint of 19’-0” when fully open (including the motor).

The power sliding gate can operate in conjunction with any of W.A.
Schmidt’s guardrail systems. The new design requires no pallet drop guard
because the gate rolls on the top of the deck instead of on the edge of the
mezzanine. The gate works with standard screw drive openers, making the
