HOW TO BECOME A MOPPET DISTRIBUTOR

Taking Moppet into the hands of every parent is a huge challenge to us however it is also one
challenge that we love to share, for this reason, we have worked out a model that will accommodate
all income levels to allow for effective distribution and retail of our products while also giving people
especially women an opportunity to make money.

While we aim to deliver 100% natural homemade cereals to every Nigerian home, we are focus on
making sure the quality of products remains the same and the pricing model is competitive as we
strive to make sure the business is profitable for us, our distributors, and resellers.

We have 4 major categories:

● Offline stores
● Wholesale Distributors
● Depot Managers

ALL DISTRIBUTORSHIP AGREEMENTS ARE REVIEWED EVERY QUARTER

The following are factors we consider in choosing a distributor for Moppet Brands
1. Former experience of the applicant
2. Local market knowledge and presence
3. Corporate culture and values alignment
4. Financial strength and ability to carry through the investment penetrating location in full and
large-scale distribution and retail environment format.
5. Customer service excellence
6. Teamwork and collaboration drive
7. Sales performance.

Offline Stores & Retailers


The Offline retailers involve a store owner buying the product at a discount from 8% depending on
volume. You can now add your own cost, to sell at the approved amount that Moppet is sold to
customers. The minimum start-up fee for this level is N44,000.

And you buy at 26000 a carton of 500g and N18000 a carton of 300g, a carton is 12 pieces

Wholesale Distributor

Moppet wants to empower men and women from all works of life across all levels of income, to
become independent with this strategy, this includes stay at home moms and men who want to earn
money.

You will be assigned to a retailer or Depo manager who will work with you, there will also be training
that will greatly impact you and help to grow your business and loans to advocates who have proven
to be hardworking within 6 months. The minimum startup for this level is N122,400.

And you buy at N24000 a carton of 500g and N16800 a carton of 300g, a carton is 12 pieces

These advocates can sell to hospitals, creches, stores, resellers, and individual buyers as well as
supermarkets.

5. Free delivery on all orders
6. Advocates may be clustered in an area; no exclusivity.
7. Prepayment for all orders – Trade credit available after 6 months
8. Financial coaching and strategy sessions are also available
9. The minimum order is a 12 cartons of any product

Area & Depot Managers

In line with Moppet Depot’s agreed-on terms, the Moppet Depot manager is allowed to sell Moppet
Baby Cereal products with our methods and directives within a redefined territory while working
closely with other members of our distribution chain.

The Depot managers in the area are given rights to operate a Moppet Store in accordance with our
system of operations.
We only grant rights to become an Area or a depot manager in markets/areas where rights have not
been given.

Area and Depot Managers Requirements


1. A store designed in accordance with Moppet standards
2. A phone line dedicated to customer service
3. Fully stocked store at all times
4. Monthly purchase of not less than 1,000,000
5. Compulsory financial mentorship and support training

Benefits of an Area or Depot Manager


1. Trade credits and soft loans after 6 months of active sales
2. Provision of gift items to distribute to your customers.
3. Linking of retail customers to your store.
4. Yearly customer loyalty reward.
5. Provision of online and offline Store merchandisers for publicity.
6. Cannot sell above or below recommended buyer price.
7. Quarterly 8% rebate on transportation costs.
