My Dear Friend’s

Today I will be narrating a story of Akbar Birbal. But what made me

choose this story. Well, Most of us grew up listening to the famous
stories of the great King Akbar and one of his courtesans, Birbal, who
was known for his intelligence and wittiness. These stories not only
amused us, but they also taught us about the important virtues of life
because they imparted us with a valuable moral at the end.

I would also like to brief upon the author of Akbar Birbal stories author
“Monisha Mukundan writes for children. She loves history and writing for
children so she is happiest when she can combine the two. She has
written two full length historical novels for chidren and several books of
short stories. Some of her published books are: Akbar and Birbal:Tales
of Humour, Asoka the Great, My Mother the Sandwich Maker and other
