characters in simple sentences by using at least 3 adjectives given.

the adjectives to the characters from listening to the audio song.

Activities
i. Pre-lesson : Warm Up!
(15 minutes) 1. Pupils listen to teacher says “Touch your hair” and “I have got
straight hair”. If the pupils have got curly hair, they point to their
friends with straight hair saying “He/She has got straight hair”.
2. Pupils guess the meaning of the adjectives and repeat the same
procedure to introduce the meaning of curly hair and blond hair.

Listening to the song!


1. Pupils listen to a song, Smart Friends (Track 3).
2. Pupils refer to the lyrics of the song in the PPT slideshow.
3. Pupils listen to the song played by teacher gain.
4. Pupils guess the characters described by teacher.
ii. Lesson Development : Running Adjectives!
Lesson 2 Speaking 1
(35 minutes) 1. Pupils are divided into groups.
2. Each group will take a flash card of the character.
3. In groups, the members have to use the adjectives to create 3
sentences to describe the characters they have.
Example:
This is…
She has got …
He has got …
It has got …
4. Every group present their works in front of the class.
iii. Post-lesson : Who Is It?
(10 minutes) 1. Every pupils write their name on a piece of paper and put in a
bag.
2. One pupil draw a piece of paper from the bag and read the
name without revealing the it.
3. The pupil describes the person written on the paper.
4. Other pupils guess and the one who guesses correctly will be
the next one to draw.
5. Pupils sing the song again.

Assessment : 1. Teacher and pupils discuss the characters and their physical
appearances based on the song. (Turn-taking)
2. Teacher monitors carefully as the pupils describe the characters
to evaluate their vocabulary and speaking skill. Teacher reviews
vocabulary in the next lesson if necessary. (Repair Strategies)
