Hi Rosie,

It was a lovely surprise to hear from you! Sorry for taking ages to get back to you, but I had
to hit the books for my final Literature test. I´m glad to know that you´ll be learning a new
language, and especially considering how useful it will be for you!

As for a good series to practise your listening skills, if I were you, I´d definitely recommend
starting by watching the one called “Merlí”. It´d be a wonderful opportunity for you, not only
to learn new vocabulary and useful expressions, but also to keep your mind concentrated in a
lovely story. By the way, it´s about a teacher who help their students to realise how much
important is Philosophy in our daily lives. It seems to me that it´d be a good starting point,
because actors use a colloquial way of speaking.

You mentioned that you wanted to learn the language faster, didn´t you? So, how about
listening to Podcasts about interesting topics you really like? Moreover, I reckon that using an
app to speak with native speakers could be a great idea too!
