Introduction
A study about the fast-growing issue of the students and teachers pertaining to noise pollution
across classrooms at St. Raphael College of Business and Arts Inc. (SRCBAI). In this study, the
researchers will determine how the noise across rooms travels to one another. Noise pollution is
defined as unwanted noise that could have an adverse physical and psychological impact on students,
which is two of the main effects of the problem. The researchers gathered data from the existing laws,
news and journals all over the internet; books from the libraries, and other research papers regarding
noise reduction particularly inside of a room.
As per the conducted pre-survey by the researchers, noise is the first major problem in a
school thus resulting to inevitable noises coming from the students that cause misunderstandings in
the school grounds. Another reason for this is the facilities of the school. Walls are not insulated
enough that is why sound waves are able to pass through the walls and into the next room.
Concentrating on the solutions of this problem made the researchers continue this field of research.
This study will focus on modern solutions and ways of reducing noise pollution at St. Raphael
College of Business and Arts INC. (SRCBAI). This study will illustrate prototypes; both digital and
3d, on how to reduce noise pollution. Factors of noise pollution will be considered and discussed to
reduce the problem.
A quote from Robert Lacey saying, “Of all the varieties of modern pollution, noise is the most
insidious” the adverse effects of noise pollution are not visible, just like the effects of water and air
pollution, but it is equally threatening to the environment. Noise pollution is hazardous to our health.
It is not merely just an unpleasant and irritating sound for our ears. Our bodies and minds are harmed
as a result of it. Noise pollution not only affects the ears but also harms concentration. This is why the
quote from Lacey is a great motivation to be present and have a solution to the noise emissions. This
study is supported with legal basis such as: Republic ACT NO. 386, Title VIII Article 694, Article
695, Article 696 pertaining to the act of nuisance and the legislative counteract if the citizen of the
nation violates the laws under this.
The researchers wanted to improve their innovative skills and create a technology that can be
used to solve the noise pollution problem in the school of St. Raphael College of Business and Arts
INC. (SRCBAI). The researchers intend to concentrate on the specific issue of noise heard in nearby
rooms or spaces, which can be a severe disruption to the learning environment. The study's goal is to
provide schools with evidence-based techniques for reducing the impact of noise pollution, resulting
in a more calm and conducive learning environment for students. The study will also help students
and teachers reduce hearing noise from the other room; hence, create a more peaceful environment for
learning.

Methods and Materials
Using all the materials, the researchers made an example of a soundproof room, for the school
of St. Raphael College of Business and Arts Inc. This prototype will help not only the students but
also the teachers and staff of the SRCBAI school so that no noise is heard from the other room. This
soundproofing is also a great help for students to focus on learning, for teachers to be able to teach
properly, and for staff to not be disturbed. In preparing the sound proofing insulator, various materials
were collected; regular sized egg trays were dried and stored in the facility. Miniture eggtrays were
made with paper, glue, and water using the 3 is to 1 ratio. 10 grams of chaff, 20 grams of hay, 20
grams of paper, and 30 grams of coconut fiber will act as the inside layer of the insulator.
With the completed materials, the researchers will now continue the next part. The process
will then begin by putting together the materials inside the holes of the egg trays, in the following
order, chaff, hay, paper, coconut fiber. At this point, the synthetic sponge will take into place. It will
be inserted at both ends of the egg tray, leaving no room for the gaps on the eggtray. To make sure the
spinge will not as both ends of the eggtray is covered, the researchers will move to the next step. This
process will be repeated three (3) times. After combining the three layers of the insulator. Tie the ends
of the insulator together; using a high-quality twine, tie the egg tray together until it is tight and
secured. It is important to note that the exact mesurements of the materials used willgreatly affect the
effectivity of the product.
