Feature of the PSR

The porous structure of the PSR guarantees optimum distribution of the oil over the entire traveller run-
ning track during the yarn spinning and twisting.

Advantage of the PSR

While a wick-fed steel ring offers applicable but
localized lubrication, the PSR, even where an aux-
iliary wick is not fit, has all the efficiency of a lu-
bricated bearing. Such complete lubrication brings
with it many advantages:
1. Higher spindle speeds
2. Greater uniformity of yarn tension
3. Longer traveller life
4. Greatest possible yarn cleanliness
5. No excessive of free oil
6. Less oil consumption
7. Closer control of oil consumption

Inspection, Cleaning & Oil Impregnation of the PSR

>> Inspection
We are basically doing the sampling inspection for dimen-
sion, microhardness and surface roughness.
We are also doing the sampling inspection for the air perme-
ability by measuring the flow rate(m3/hour or liter/minute)
of the air flew out from airtight internal space to the outer
surface of the ring.

Inspection, Cleaning & Oil Impregnation of the PSR

>> Cleaning
We are doing the cleaning the all PSRs by flowing oil in and out alternately through the interconnect-
ed pores. This operation is conducted by vacuuming and pressurizing with compressed air(≈0.49MPa)
the internal space of the rings loaded onto the cartridge.
The vacuuming and pressurizing are performed in and out of the oil reservoir, respectively.

>> Oil Impregnation

We are doing the oil impregnation
for the all PSRs by vacuuming in the
oil reservoir for a short time and im-
mediately releasing the vaccum.
