I/We the undersigned jointly and severally accept full financial responsibility for any and all costs and expenses
that I/we may incur as a consequence, direct or otherwise, of any accident or incident involving the above
described motor vehicle that are not recoverable under any Insurance Policy or from the Insurers of the vehicle
whilst the vehicle is in our care. These costs can include but are not limited to any policy excesses or, to costs
arising from our driving of the vehicle without an appropriate Driving Licence or, being under the age of 25
years.

I/We undertake that, any payments that we ourselves may receive or be offered in relation to any accident or
incident involving this vehicle as a consequence of any Insurance Policy that we or our Organisation hold will be
assigned to you, until such time as any and all other of our liabilities to you have been discharged.

I/We have inspected the vehicle before accepting possession and are satisfied that there are no apparent
damages or defects, other than those noted below. I/we understand that the vehicle will be inspected upon
return and that I/we may be liable for the cost of any repairs that may be found necessary and understand that
any such repairs might not be deemed appropriate for you to seek any reimbursement from your Insurers.

I/We undertake to notify you immediately in the event of any accident or incident involving this vehicle and
agree not to implement or authorise any repairs until such time as you and/or the Insurers give us permission.
The only exception to this is in the event of there being a risk of greater damage or danger to life if immediate
action is not taken and where it may be claimed that such actions are in fact mitigating the extent of any
potential claim.

I/We accept full responsibility for any and all Road Traffic Fixed Penalty Notices and/or Parking Fines or other
penalties that the driver(s) or vehicle may attract whilst in our/my care. The issuance of any such Penalties
whatsoever will be reported to you by me/us on return of the vehicle.

I/We acknowledge having been provided with instructions regarding the use at all times of the steering wheel
locking device and of the action to be taken with regard to the Tracker device in the event of the vehicle being
stolen.

I/We declare that the vehicle whilst in our care will only be used in strict accordance with a Small Bus Permit
granted to our Organisation under section 19 of the Transport Act 1985 OR that we are members of the Scout
Association permitted to use the vehicle under Permit No. – expiry date of .
