Introduction

Communication process is one of the most crucial parts in the organizations to ensure the
free flow of effective information. The internal communication ensures the smooth
operational processes within the organization and external communication ensures to
build strong relationship with the stakeholders, consumers and other competitors (Saeed
et al., 2019). The business organizations use the communication process in their daily
activities.

The proposal aims to investigate the impact of effective communication process to


enhance the sustainability of Tesco Plc. The outline of the proposal contained with
literature review, methodologies and other sections to evaluate the research topic
effectively.

Aim and Objectives

The main aim of the proposal is to investigate the impact of effective communication
process to enhance the sustainability of Tesco Plc. The other objectives of the proposal
are provided below.

To examine the concept of effective communication in the organization;

To analyse the importance of internal and external communication processes to ensure the
sustainability;

To investigate how the communication process, ensure sustainable relationship of


stakeholders;

And to analyse the impact of communication process to enhance the sustainability in


production and operational process.

Literature Review

Concept of Effective Communication

Business communication is involved in every tasks in the organizations and without


communicate with each other no tasks can be done or even start. In the organizations the
employees, employers, subordinates, owners, consumers, suppliers and other related
parties are conduct effective communication with other in daily basis to ensure the free
flow of information (Fernando et al., 2019). The organizations can conduct oral and
written communication, use pictures or sign to indicate direction or rules, body language,
voice modulations and so on to effectively and continuously communicate with each
other.

Significance of Internal and External Communication

The internal and external communication combined to establish a two-way flow of


information from and within a company. The HR professionals and managers use the
process of internal and external communication to identify the audience to provide them
message in an appropriate way. The companies conduct communication with its
shareholders in a way and communicate with consumers in other ways (Naciti, 2019). So,
to identify the difference the internal and external communication processes are much
crucial to conduct effective communication in all channels.
Importance of Effective Communication to Gain Sustainable Relationship with
Stakeholders

Stakeholders are the both internal and external parties of an organization. The internal
stakeholders are staffs, managers and the external stakeholders are customers and
suppliers. The organizations can conduct communication with them in several ways such
as written, verbal, formal or informal depending on the situation and appropriateness
(Malyuga et al., 2018). This process can build a strong loyal and sustainable relationship
with the both internal and external stakeholders.

Effectiveness of Communication in Enhancing Production and Operational


Processes

The effective communication ensures the free flow of information throughout the
organization. For this reason, the employees are also informed about the latest changes in
the organization and can provide immediate feedbacks and reaction about the changes
and also can take part in decision-making process. As the employees work closely with
the consumers, they know the wants and demands of the consumers and also know how
to provide them satisfaction (Bolten, 2020). So, the effective communication has the
ability to enhance the overall operational and production processes of the organizations.

Methodology

Methodology means a systematic process involves with technical tools and methods to
find out the solution of a problem. The researcher of this research will find the effective
procedures to investigate the impact of effective communication process to enhance the
sustainability of Tesco Plc. The processes of data collection and evaluation, research
approaches, ethical considerations and so on will be evaluated in this section.

Research Process

The researcher will at first identify the problem of the research and then decide the proper
design to evaluate and solve the problem effectively. The researcher will choose the
research onion model as the research design to evaluate the impacts of communication on
sustainability (Takino, 2020). Through this model, the researcher will be able to evaluate
data in a systematic way.

Research Approach

The researcher will choose deductive research approach to evaluate the data of the
research effectively. This approach will allow the researcher to gain a specific conclusion
from general information that will be collected from secondary resources. It evaluates
data through using hypothesis in a logical way.

Data Collection Method

The relevant data of the research will be collected from secondary resources. Through
this resources the research would get data in an organized way. It will save the time and
cost of the researcher and gain the desired outcome effectively.

Data Analysis Method

The researcher will analyse the relevant data in both quantitative and qualitative way.
Through these methods the researcher can gain the depth knowledge and numerical
results of data (Saeed et al., 2019). The researcher will conduct questionnaire survey on
online platforms in a semi-formal way to gather relevant data.

Population and Sample

The researcher will use the random sampling method. The number of participants will be
50 and all the participants will be the stakeholders of Tesco.

Ethical Consideration

The researcher will follow all the rules and regulations to ensure the legality of the
research. The information that will be used in this research will be true and relevant. No
participants will be forced to participate in the survey.
Conclusion

The proposal aimed to investigate the impact of effective communication process to


enhance the sustainability of Tesco Plc. The proposal designed effectively to gather the
relevant data of the research effectively and evaluate them to find the desired outcome.
The literature section evaluates the main concepts and significance of business
communication effectively and in the methodology section the process and approaches of
the research are evaluated. So, the proposal described all the objectives and have the
ability to provide the desired result.
