WHY WE WANT TO SPEND THE REST OF OUR LIVES ON MARS.

It is known that technology has advanced a lot over the years and thanks to that
experiments have been carried out in different ways, for example today there is the
possibility of being able to travel to the moon and to another planet.

In this case we talk about the planet Mars which is the fourth planet of the Solar
System. Known as the red planet for its pink hues, the Romans identified it with blood
and named it after their god of war. Attempts have been made to send people to the
planet Mars in order to find out what inhabits that place, for example if there is
biodiversity, people or some species; but also, to know if the planet Mars has the
resources so that human beings can live on it.

I believe that living on Mars would not be a good option because human beings are
used to what Planet Earth offers us, that is, its resources, services, biodiversity and
other things, while Mars is a planet that we do not know and we do not know if it
counts with what we need in order to survive. Investigating I realized that it
mentioned that Mars was considered a dead planet, so why risk living in that place?
The Earth has the oxygen that we all need while Mars does not, so in that aspect it
is impossible to survive. In terms of food, it could be to bring canned food but when
it runs out, what will we do? Clearly, we cannot be traveling all the time, so I consider
focusing on taking care of Planet Earth and leaving ideas of going to live on Mars.

Something that caught my attention is about the interview with Ryan Macdonald,
about what he expects when landing on that planet, which his answer is very
coherent because it is an unknown planet and it is not known what beings live there,
so the first thing to think or rather the priority is how to survive and perhaps the first
few days will be very difficult, but it is a matter of adapting.

I consider that all those people who decide to investigate and travel to other planets,
are those who have a great vocation because it is a change of routine and life; It is
really something that I would not do because it would be very difficult to adapt.
