Course Title CE 107/CE 425 – Hydrology


Course Credits: 3 units lecture Contact Hours/Week 4 hours lecture
Course Description: The course deals on the hydrologic cycle and the different processes such as precipitation, evaporation,
infiltration, overland flow, groundwater flow and surface runoff generation.
Course prerequisite: 3rd Year Standing
At the end of the course, the students must be able to:

Course Requirements Classroom Policies:

• Modules or Lecture Notes (PDF or PPT file) for each topic included in the syllabus will be sent
through the online platform agreed by the class and respective university links.
• Assessments/Module • Examinations and assessments will be sent online through Google Forms, Messenger, Email,
Examinations etc.
• Compilation Notes/Problem • Answers for the assessment should be submitted on or before the end of the duration
Sets indicated in each module or upon the release of the next module. Each student should provide
• Midterm Examination a notebook for the subject. Answers for the assessment should be written on the said
• Final Examination notebook. (Note: Do not forget to write the questions before answering the
assessment/module examinations.)
• Late submission of answers for any assessment/examination, without an authorized extension
of deadline, will cause a reduction in student’s score.
(Reduction in score = 3% x highest possible score x number of days late)
