Information Management

1. There are 3 DATABASES at CCC which are LMS, Scheduling, and Attendance
Monitoring for employees but the only currently running at MSID is only Student
Records (LMS DATABASE)

2. LMS are database for all students and faculty, students data such as activit,
exams, quizzes, and grades. Meanwhile for faculty, modules and exams also with
credentials. For attendance monitoring, for faculty employees and non-teaching
personnel, and lastly for scheduling it is for the schedule of class in reg form
and exams every semester.

5. For now, for the two databases it is from external and have hosting database at
ccc.edu.ph and lms at in-house database

6. MISD have their own and proper process before output data thou MISD doesn't the
one direct outputing data, still the data are taken from their department like for
example students requests data, it will go through first at registrar, then from
registrar straight to the database of MISD that's why they always make sure it will
go with this process to avoid bypass of authority and to know where there are
instances of error and leak, they will know where it come from and how to fix it.

10. There are some, for now our firewall still upgrading and improving security for
the users and planned to add encryption because as the time pass by, systems will
be increased, so we also need to improve database also the physical server.

13. Technically, there are no delete only stored because it is advisable incase of
backtrack, it is sure that the past data will be shown. Also, if unintentionally
deleted some data and the user request it, where to find the data, unless the data
needed to delete and not needed anymore.

14. For now, they dont have any disaster recovery plan, only backup as much as
possible incase of error or damage to server, they have the data still even the
data are not the exact at the present, it is less effort and minimal changes or
adjustments to data
