Heroes of Today

Heroes of today,

Taking care of our safety,

Under the scorching heat of sun,

Still fighting for our beloved country.

Heroes of today,

Not seeing their family,

Do not got home,

Taking care of the nation.

Heroes of today,

Could not sleep properly,

Do not have time to eat,

For caring the patients in hospital.

Obey the government’s instructions

Healthy people, for a safe country.

 Heroes of Today

An applause to the news crew,

Who tirelessly answer the call,

To keep us informed,

And make sense of it all!

Cheer on and show love,

For the scared doctors, nurses and hospital workers,

Who show up and work doubles,

In sacrificial services!

Thanks to those who drive the trucks,

And deliver,

Stock the shelves and manning the cash,

Even though they may shiver!

These are the real-life heroes who deserve recognition,

While we, staying at home in a safe position.

He always listens,

He inspires me to always try,

He teaches me about life,

He loves to laugh,

He always takes care of me,

He is strong and handsome,

Just to remind me to pray,

My dad, my hero,

You are my cloud on the sky,

You are my umbrella in the rain,

You are the shoulder in my sorrow.

Dad,

Your patience has no limit,

To serve our needs even if you are tired,

How noble is your heart, how great is your soul.

Dad,

You set aside your desire to meet my needs,

You forgot your fatigue for the sake of making me happy,

Rejecting mines and thorns for my happiness.

Your sacrifice remains eternal in my soul,

Guarding the borders regardless of tiredness,

Fulfilling responsibilities for the country and society,

A heavy trust to bear.

Dear people of Malaysia,

Let’s together stop the spreading of Covid 19,
