Real Estate Assessor

Requirements:
 Must have expert knowledge on real estate values and preparation of written reports,
appraisal and assessment of real properties, including plants, equipment, and machineries,
and fair market value;
 Must have knowledge in taxation and other public service purposes;
 Can perform quality real estate service work;
 Must be able to conduct environmental scanning of the real estate industry and practices.
 At least 21 years of age
 Not convicted of any offense involving moral turpitude
 At least five (5) year experience as licensed real estate broker or five (5) years experience
as APPRAISER in any government agency, banking/financial institution of any company
involved in appraisal of real estate properties, duly certified under oath by his employer
or head of the agency provided he/she has satisfactorily completed a four (4) year
Baccalaureate Degree.
 Must pass a real estate appraisers examination given by the Bureau.
 PRC Requirements:
o Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management (BS REM)
o NSO / PSA Birth Certificate
o NSO / PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants)
o Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks "For Board Examination
Purposes"
o Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers & Repeaters)

Fees:
 PRC Registration – P450.00
 PRC Doc Stamp – P50.00
 Surety Bond – P1,700.00 – P1,800.00

Taxes:
 Professional Tax Receipt – P300.00
 Professional fees rendered to individuals are subject to five percent (5%) if the annual
gross income is less than three million (3M).
 Professional fees rendered to an individual are subject to ten percent (10%) if the annual
gross income is more than three million (3M) or to a VAT registered person regardless of
the amount.
