Ramsey Timber Group Statement of Reassurance

Peter Ramsey & Sons (Denholme) Timber Ltd has a long history of timber trading and we have
always been committed to responsible timber sourcing. Both from a moral standpoint and a
compliance position we fully support the UK Timber Regulations, and we commit to always abiding
by the requirements.

We understand that complying with these regulations is just as important to our customers as it is to
us and offer this statement of reassurance to our customers.

We can confirm that Peter Ramsey & Sons (Denholme) Timber Ltd complies with all relevant
requirements of the UKTR. Our obligations as a “Trader” are to maintain records of who we buy from
and who we sell to. We do this within our business management systems (purchase order/ invoices
etc) and this information would be made available to any enforcing body for audit if ever requested.

As an “Operator” Peter Ramsey & Sons (Denholme) Timber Ltd comply by carrying out a due
diligence risk assessment with sufficient depth to ensure that there is negligible risk of illegal wood
in the shipment.

We hold FSC Chain of Custody certification. For which we are regularly audited.

We have selected our suppliers carefully and the companies we buy from are also committed to
responsible and sustainable timber trade.
