Project Topic
Do a report on a ISSUES AND CHALLENGES IN HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY. The issues and challenges
should be related with the hospitality industry. Students need to find ACADEMIC JOURNALS (3) and
SUPPORTING MATERIALS (ARTICLES/ BLOGS/ ETC) (3) that are related to trends in hospitality
industry. The journals and supporting materials should get approval from the lecturer). Based on the the
issues and challenges, students need to come out with one innovative recommendation that can be
implemented and used by the industry. Recommendation can be in many forms (software / products /
process / models / etc).
A written report with the following sections shall be submitted on the 13 th week of the semester.
- Cover page
- Table of content
- Acknowledgement
- Contents (refer to ‘Details in the report’)
- Conclusion
- References
- Appendices (pictures/sample of forms/tickets/voucher/etc)
- Report should not be more than 20 pages and should not be less than 10 pages
Project Rules
1. There should not be more than 5 students in a group. Neither changing members nor changing teams
is allowed
2. No plagiarism will be tolerated
3. Please be as creative as you can in terms of report writing and presentation
