1. Summary of the article
The main idea of this paper is to conceptualize a learning-based technology strategy along three
dimensions: proactive technology posture, process adaptation and experimentation, and
collaborative technology sourcing; also to investigate their relationships with plant
competitiveness (cost, quality, delivery, flexibility, and innovation). This study have been
elaborate the learning-based technology strategy and its dimensions.
Under this main purpose it discussed on the specific objective such as: to examine the
organizations collaborate with the technology suppliers to incorporate their process knowledge
into the new production technologies, to explore the organizations have coherent technology
strategies that foster knowledge creation and retention, to adentify the impact anorganization’s
ability to compete in the marketplace. The authors were berifely argue on the theory and
accepted and optimistic the preceding study discussed, because of he try to fill the gap
unaddressed.
The author conducts the articles used quantitative research approach. The data was analysised
by three hypotheses (H1-H3) propose direct relationships between plant competitiveness and
each of the dimensions of learning-based technology strategy: PTP, PAE, and CTS. The
analysed of the article is categorized in three perispecties. The first perispectives adentifies three
relationships were tested by linking each dimension to plant competitiveness directly; the 2 nd
perispectives identifies The H4 proposes that three dimensions (PTP, PAE, and CTS) of
learning-based technology strategy working together foster synergy and, thus, form a co-
alignment with a strong positive relationship to plant competitiveness. The 3 rd perispectives
recognize H5 proposes that learning-based technology strategy (TECHSTR) mediates the
relationship between ESF and plant competitiveness (COMP).
The study also found that the study results demonstrate that although the three dimensions of
learning-based technology strategy are not individually related to plant competitiveness (direct
effects perspective),their co-alignment strongly impacts plant competitiveness (co-alignment
perspective). in addition, this co-alignment creates an environment in which employee
suggestion and feedback can help make sense of novel situations, leading to superior plant
competitiveness (mediation perspective).
Based on the finding the authors reveals that the ineffectiveness of a piecemeal approach to
technology management. This has an important implication for practice as many organizations

pursue only parts of learning-based technology strategy and consequently fail to increase their
competitiveness. Organizational knowledge enhances a firm’s ability to cope with environmental
changes so it can differentiate itself from competitors and provide competitive advantage in the
marketplace and learning-based technology strategy provides an environment and context in
which production technology being used and process knowledge created can be inimitable,
yielding superior competitiveness. Finally the authors suggested managers should adopt a
comprehensive approach to technology strategy using all three dimensions and engage their
employees in the process of technology development and improvement.
2. Evaluation of the litrture
As talk about in the article, every theoretical framework are validated by giving the reason
for each concrete example, the author tries too much the existing theory and validates it
with different instruments, and explanations, The finding and conclusions of the article are
aligned as indicated in articles the author of the article found out resultsindicate tested are
alignment with finding and conclusions. For example basic questions and finding of the
study are coordinated with the: 1st Do these organizations collaborate with the technology
suppliers to incorporate their process knowledge into the new production technologies?,2 nd Do
these organizations have coherent technology strategies that foster knowledge creation and
retention?.and 3rd How do these efforts impact an organization’s ability to compete in the
marketplace? questions are alignment with finding and conclusion .

3. contribute and relate to the overall topic of your course

The articles presented these studies have a lot of contribution to the person needs to professional
on the areas as the base, and providing additional literature, and body of knowledge, there is no
more duplication of study exists on the area since it is no more done on the field of the studies,
and these articles are also set free space for future study on the areas clearly, there for The study
provides a useful contribution to the field of operations management as general field of as it
provides better managerial insights and a benchmarking base to top managers, policymakers, and
academics. It is likely to result in the increased generally performance of their firms.these articles

4. Strenght and weakness of the article
Strength of the article
From my point of understanding the article has the following strength
 The paper has already achieved use full insights of learning-based technology strategy and its
dimensions which have not been addressed by previous works.
 The authors, already achieved use full insights of Scientific in nature, Rigorous, Cure for
selection, bias, Provide exact, and benchmark for comparison.
 The author in the writing system to express all reference authors name in paragraph. In my
opinion, if it uses citation number. it seems like time and place costly.
 It clearly point out the insight that obtains from the solution it allows the reader to understand
easily what points obtain from the solution. And the conclusion is aligned with the findings
and use proper method of analysis.
Weakness
 However, the authors cannot be used key Voice and accountability and Ease of Doing social
responsibility quality in the article.
Finally, as to my opinion, the points discussed this article might use contemporary cases where
policy maker decisions in developing countries might have interesting findings to be discussed
