    COVID VACCINATION TO EMPLOYEES WHO ARE AGED 45 YEARS & ABOVE


    FROM 1ST APRIL 2021 ONWARDS

    Government of India has approved using any of the two COVID-19 vaccines –
    COVISHIELD or COVAXIN which are being used in the Government’s vaccination
    drive.

    In the current phase of COVID-19 vaccination drive which commenced on 1st March
    2021, those who are over 60 years of age and for people aged 45 years and above with
    specified co-morbid conditions are eligible for vaccinations.

    Starting from 1st April 2021, people aged 45 years & above will be able to take vaccines
    against novel coronavirus.

    Getting vaccinated will provide the protection not only to employees also to their contacts
    around them including their family members against the coronavirus. Hence, we
    encourage all the eligible employees voluntarily register themselves with their Aadhaar
    No at COVID vaccination centre and get vaccinated.

    The cost of COVID vaccine two doses will be reimbursed by Bank to the employees and
    their dependant family members subject to a maximum of Rs.250/- per dose on
    production of receipt.

    A template has been developed and hosted by CO: HRM Department in the Staff Self
    Service Portal for claiming the reimbursement and/or entering the details of vaccination
    for individualised tracking of all eligible employees receiving COVID-19 vaccine. Please
    refer Circular No.HRMD.176/2020-21 dated 10.03.2021 in this regard.
