How does the homework grid work?

This homework grid shows the homework for each topic unit we learn in school and it normally lasts for 5-6 weeks. This
topic is all about the earthquakes and volcanoes (it also includes some science, spelling and grammar work). This will be the
homework from now until half term. Each week the children can build up points and they will be rewarded for this at the end
of the unit with extra house points. These house points will be on top of the ones they receive for a good piece of
homework.
The children will also receive some maths and a list of spellings each week. They can use the list of spellings to help them
with the spelling activities. Please write the number of the activity (e.g. A2, B4 etc) at the top of the homework.
The children should hand in at least 1 piece of homework from this grid each week. However, they can do as much as they
like. They are not expected to complete the whole grid at the end of the topic unit.
