Case Title: American Connector Company.

Wrt to the above Harvard Case Study, answer the Questions below:-

Q1. Discuss the Manufacturing Operations at the Sunnyvale‘s Plant wrt to its Products and
manufacturing process. Highlight Key issues faced by the Company.

Q2.What was the competitive strategy of DJC Corporation? Discuss in brief the operation strategy
followed at its Kawasaki Plant.

Q3. Compare the operation strategies of the Kawasaki Plant v/s the Sunnyvale plant and draw a
conclusion on which is better and why?

Q4.Compare the KEY Productivity Metrics of the Sunnyvale mfg. Plant v/s Kawasaki mfg. plant ,
analyze and interpret key implications for Productivity and flexibility.
