Little Red Riding Hood Play Script

The play script tells the story of Little Red Riding Hood through a series of scenes. In scene 1, Little Red Riding Hood's mother sends her to deliver a basket of food to her sick grandmother. In scene 2, Little Red Riding Hood meets the wolf in the forest who tricks her about her grandmother's location. In scene 3, the wolf arrives at the grandmother's house first and eats her, then waits for Little Red Riding Hood in disguise. Little Red Riding Hood realizes something is wrong but is then eaten by the wolf, who then falls asleep. A woodsman discovers what happened and rescues Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother from the wolf's belly.

Little Red Riding Hood – Play script

Characters: Little Red Riding Hood, Mother, Wolf, Grandmother, Woodsman

Scene 1

Little Red Riding Hood: Hello Mom!!!

Mother: Hi Little Red Riding Hood! Your grandmother is very sick. Can you give her this basket
with some food? There are some fruits and there is some bread.

Little Red Riding Hood: Yes, mom, of course!

Mother: But don´t stop in the forest, and don´t talk to strangers. Be careful darling!

Little Red Riding Hood: Yes, mother. Bye!

Scene 2

Little Red Riding Hood: Oh, what beautiful flowers! I will take some to my grandmother.
SUDDENLY…
Wolf: Good morning. Little Red Riding Hood!

Little Red Riding Hood: Good morning, Mr. Wolf.

Wolf: Where are you going ?

Little Red Riding Hood: I am going to my grandmother´s house to take her this little basket with some bread
and fruits.

Wolf: Where is her house, Little Red Riding Hood?

Little Red Riding Hood: Mr. Wolf, she lives in the forest.

Wolf: Good-bye, Little Red Riding Hood. I hope she gets better. Goodbye!!!!

Little Red Riding Hood: Thank you. Bye!!!


Scene 3

Wolf: Knocks on the door.


Grandmother: Who´s there?

Wolf: It´s me grandmother, Little Red Riding Hood, and I have a basket with some bread and
fruits for you.

Grandmother: Come in my sweetie, open the door!

(As soon as the wolf entered he gobbled up Little Red Riding Hood´s grandmother. Then
he put on her nightgown, jumped into bed and waited for the little girl. A few minutes
later Little Red Riding Hood arrived at her grandmother´s house. She knocked at the
door).- (we can adapt this part)

Little Red Riding Hood: Knocks on the door.

Wolf: Who´s there?

Little Red Riding Hood: Grandmother, it´s me, Little Red Riding Hood. I have a basket with some bread and
fruits for you.

Wolf: Come in my sweetie, open the door.

(Little Red Riding Hood entered the little house. She went straight to her grandmother
´s room, and in the bed there was the Wolf dressed with her grandmother´s clothes).

Little Red Riding Hood: Oh, grandma, your voice is weird. Are you ok?

Wolf: Oh, yes, yes, I’m ok.

Little Red Riding Hood: Oh granny, what big ears you have!

Wolf: To hear you better.

Little Red Riding Hood: And… what big eyes you have!

Wolf: To see you better.

Little Red Riding Hood: Oh, granny, and what big teeth you have!

Wolf: To eat you better!! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha!

(The Wolf gobbled up Little Red Riding Hood. Then the wolf fell asleep. Meanwhile a
woodsman was passing by the little house, when he saw the door open. He entered,
looked for the old lady, and then he saw the wolf)

Woodsman: Oh no! The wolf has eaten Granny! But he is sleeping.

(He grabbed the wolf by the neck and made him spit out the poor Grandmother and
Little Red Riding Hood who were still in one piece.) Aqui puede salir corriendo y aparece
granny…

Little Red Riding Hood: Oh, thank you, good woodsman. Hi Granny!!! I love you!

Grandmother: Thanks! I love you too.
