HOME

Have you ever asked yourself what your perfect home would be? Well, first we need to know
what a home is and the difference between a house. With house I mean the building where
you live, this place that many people have worked hard to build, this place which we think we
love the most. This is very important because you may feel protected but I think your home
is more.

Home, for me, this expression means the people who are around you, those that look after
you, those that help you in hard moments or when you’re in trouble, those that love you.
There will be people that will leave and others that will come, but we should not be afraid of
that fact because it’s destiny. Now that we have this clear I can start explaining how my
home is.

My home is made of many people, they are not perfect but I love them and I think they love
me too so let's go.

My mum, she’s the best person I have known since I was born. I’m keen on her positivity
and originality. She’s always with a smile on her face. We cannot forget that she’s very crazy,
you can easily recognize because she has very short and colourful hair. She loves to go
cicling to the mountain. She often goes alone or with my father but he can’t keep up with her,
she also does crossfit at the gym

The other day my team and I went to play a match, the conditions were horrible, and the
referee… well, better not to talk about him. So, in this match there were a lot of problems
because every player was hitting other players and the referee didn’t do anything to stop. My
mum lost her patience and she started to shout all things you can imagine, It’s
understanding. Finally she had to go out because she thought that she wasn't helping
anything. This is the best on her, that she is able to recognise when she did it wrong and she
acts at the moment to amend it.

Another person that I love is the mum of my mum, specifing, my grandmother. She is really
stubborn and small, only saying that she doesn't reach to my shoulder… She is always
shouting in every house. It's a thing that I think is hereditary cause my mum is always
shouting too, like me. My grandmother’s name is Mercedes. She is always wearing a
beautiful necklace, a heart with a lot of diamonds. Since I was, maybe, 5 years old I have
been saying that I’m keen on her necklace and she always told me that one day this
necklace will be mine, and I’m still waiting for it.

She was the person who introduced me to the world of sewing. Since I was little I have been
seeing how she sews with the machine and I remember that one day I tought: I will do my
own clothes in the future , I’m going to learn a lot about it. Now I’m 15 years old and I’m
learning a lot. I discovered many books that my grandmother has and I’m learning with her
help. I know how to control the sewing machine and recently I started to make a present for
my friend. It’s a cuddly toy with a secret pocket (I’m making the pocket) and inside of it I’m
going to put a pair of earrings. I hope she likes it so much.
This is a little part of my big home. I could explain more about other people: my dad, brother,
gradparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, and about my little cousins. My friends are in this
home too, of course. But I will need a whole book to explain it all. I hope you like my home
and if not, I don’t care. Clearly I don’t know who will read this text so, bye.
