    A steno-typist fond of snacks and beverages

    Alpha is a professional steno-typist who works from a small rented house which is located
    near the Court. He provides twin services to advocates which includes taking dictation and
    computer-typing of the matter. After typing, he passes on the soft copy to an adjacent
    ‘printout center’ for print out of the typed matter. For taking dictation and computer-typing,
    Alpha charges a service fee on the basis of number of words typed. Advocates pay him in
    cash.

    Alpha is fond of having snacks and beverages throughout the day. His daily expenditure on
    snacks and beverages also depends on his daily income from his profession. His daily income
    and expenditure on snacks and beverages in a week is given below:
