Article​ ​1.​ ​Name

Southern​ ​Utah​ ​Swim​ ​Club​ ​(S.U.S.C.)

Article​ ​2.​ ​Purpose

The​ ​purpose​ ​of​ ​swim​ ​club​ ​is​ ​to​ ​meet​ ​other​ ​people​ ​who​ ​also​ ​enjoy​ ​swimming​ ​and​ ​building​ ​a​ ​team

family​ ​bond.​ ​We​ ​also​ ​learn​ ​to​ ​support​ ​each​ ​other​ ​through​ ​competitions​ ​with​ ​team​ ​spirit.

Article​ ​3.​ ​Members

A. We​ ​accept​ ​any​ ​SUU​ ​student​ ​willing​ ​to​ ​come​ ​to​ ​practice​ ​and​ ​put​ ​in​ ​effort​ ​and​ ​enjoy​ ​the

sport.

B. To​ ​become​ ​a​ ​member​ ​you​ ​just​ ​have​ ​to​ ​follow​ ​the​ ​procedure​ ​to​ ​register​ ​and​ ​sign​ ​the

liability​ ​waiver.

C. You​ ​are​ ​able​ ​to​ ​use​ ​the​ ​team's​ ​reserved​ ​pool​ ​lanes​ ​during​ ​practice​ ​times.

Article​ ​4.​ ​Meeting

Our​ ​meetings​ ​or​ ​practices​ ​will​ ​be​ ​Tuesday,​ ​Wednesday,​ ​Thursday​ ​from​ ​7-8:30.​ ​We​ ​ask​ ​that​ ​you

make​ ​as​ ​many​ ​practices​ ​as​ ​possible.​ ​We​ ​will​ ​make​ ​announcements​ ​about​ ​meets​ ​place​ ​and

times​ ​and​ ​practices.

Article​ ​5.​ ​Funds

We​ ​will​ ​handle​ ​funds​ ​and​ ​if​ ​we​ ​use​ ​the​ ​funds​ ​for​ ​uniforms​ ​and​ ​things​ ​we​ ​will​ ​let​ ​the​ ​team​ ​know.

Article​ ​6.​ ​Advisor

Our​ ​adviser​ ​will​ ​be​ ​Blair​ ​Bentley.

Article​ ​7.​ ​Ratification

If​ ​there​ ​is​ ​any​ ​want​ ​for​ ​something​ ​to​ ​happen​ ​or​ ​change​ ​then​ ​you​ ​can​ ​bring​ ​up​ ​and​ ​we​ ​will​ ​take​ ​a

team​ ​vote.

Article​ ​8.​ ​Amendments

Amendments​ ​could​ ​change​ ​as​ ​the​ ​club​ ​grows​ ​bigger.

Article​ ​9.​ ​Bylaws

Members​ ​are​ ​expected​ ​to​ ​make​ ​as​ ​many​ ​practices​ ​as​ ​they​ ​can.​ ​Practice​ ​times​ ​are​ ​in​ ​article​ ​4.

Competitions​ ​could​ ​happen​ ​throughout​ ​the​ ​year​ ​and​ ​times​ ​will​ ​be​ ​given​ ​at​ ​practices.​ ​SUU

funding​ ​may​ ​not​ ​cover​ ​competitions,​ ​so​ ​rides​ ​and​ ​other​ ​small​ ​fees​ ​may​ ​be​ ​needed​ ​to​ ​attend

them.​ ​Emails​ ​will​ ​be​ ​sent​ ​for​ ​further​ ​information.
