“Gnosticism is the belief that matter is evil and the spirit is good, the body being prison for

the
soul. These Philosophers insisted that Jesus could not have a human body (FOR BODIES ARE EVIL)
and therefore could have not been crucified”.

THIS IS WHERE THE TOTAL DEPRAVITY MUST HAVE CAME FROM.

I’ve read many times in before in some comments about the origin of Calvinistic ideology being
that of Gnosticism from Augustine who spent his life as a gnostic before converting to giant pagan mother
and child worshipper. I JUST DON’T UNDERSTAND HOW!

That is when I remember Paul’s epistle to the Colossians.

GNOSTIC belief says every tangible thing or the body is evil and spirit is good and man is so
evil, God could have not entered into a man nature, that is Jesus Christ. Jesus could have not been God
because man is evil or He could not have a human body for body is evil. But Paul argued this belief in
Colossians 1:15-16 that the man Jesus is the IMAGE OF INVISIBLE GOD and in the man Jesus, ALL
THINGS ARE CREATED.

This Gnostic belief about matter being evil is what MUST HAVE BEEN the basis of TOTAL
DEPTAVITY. The foundation of the TULIP.

The BIGGEST PROBLEM with TOTAL DEPRAVITY is JESUS CHRIST himself, the Son of
God.

1 Timothy 2:5-6

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave
himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

Mediator is someone who understand both side, Jesus understands the side of God because He is
God and He understand the side of man because He is man.

Hebrews 2:16-17

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but HE TOOK ON HIM THE SEED OF
ABRAHAM. WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE
UNTO HIS BRETHREN, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God,
to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

Calvinist might argue that Jesus is conceived of a virgin, but GOD’s word said IN ALL THINGS
IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO HIS BRETHREN, Jesus has four brothers. Are they
different from other men?

Is man TOTALLY DEPRAVED? A HATER OF GOD?

 This is what EXACTLY happen in the Garden of Eden.

Genesis 2:9
And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant
to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst
of the garden, and THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL.
Genesis 3:6

And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the
eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and
gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Genesis 3:7

AND THE EYES OF THEM BOTH WERE OPENED, and THEY KNEW THAT
THEY WERE NAKED; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.

Genesis 3:8

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day:
and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of
the garden.

Adam and Eve eat the fruit of THE TREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL,
and their eyes are OPENED to what is GOOD and what is EVIL.

 Man’s eyes are opened to what is GOOD and what is EVIL.

 Man is ACCOUNTABLE because his eyes are opened to what is good and what
is evil.

 Man has NO EXCUSE for his eyes are opened to what is good and what is evil.

Hebrews 4:15
For we have NOT an high priest which CANNOT BE TOUCHED WITH THE FEELING OF
OUR INFIRMITIES; BUT WAS IN ALL POINTS TEMPTED LIKE AS WE ARE, YET WITHOUT SIN.

Christ understood that when tempted, we can either reject or give in to it, that is why no one IS
EXCUSE!
Mathew 7:21-23

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that
DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN. (cross reference of Fathers will is
JOHN 6:40)

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy
name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many WONDERFUL WORKS?

And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

 Unsaved man claims to have prophesied in Christ name,

 In His name have cast out devils,

 And in His name DONE MANY WONDERFUL WORKS.

Romans 10:3

For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, AND GOING ABOUT TO ESTABLISH THEIR
OWN RIGHTEOUSNESS, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.

 The reason why Mathew, Mark and Luke asked Israel to repent and believe is because
they go about establishing their own righteousness.

 They thought that they can attain righteousness by MORAL law.

 Why would God give Moral law if man is unable to follow because man is TOTAL
DEPRAVED?

WHY WOULD GOD BLAME THE MAN IF MAN CAN’T HELP IT BECAUSE THAT IS HIS
NATURE? THE NATURE WITH THEOLOGICAL TERM SINNER INSTEAD BIBLICAL TERM
OPENED EYES FOR WHAT IS GOOD AND WHAT IS EVIL.

Babies are born innocent; they will come to an age where they became accountable to what their
actions because their eyes will be opened too to what is good and what is evil.

If Calvinism is biblical, God must have lie in saying Christ took the nature of man. Christ
humanity disproved this gnostic heresy.

The problem with Calvinist is that they read non-biblical books and put the interpretation of it in
the Bible, hence the verse used are taken out of context, or it seems to them that the bible is just a
collection of saying, they just dig out verse that suit the presumptive ideology of a man.

Romans 3:10-11
As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: THERE IS NONE THAT
UNDERSTANDETH, there is NONE THAT SEEKETH after God.
 NONE RIGHTEOUS, In Romans there are two types of righteousness, righteousness by the law,
which men try to achieved and righteousness of God, which is by faith in Christ (Romans 3:21), Romans
10:3 man, like Israel, established their own righteousness instead of submitting to God’s righteousness.
(Romans 3:21)

NONE UNDERSTANDETH GOD, man try to understand God, the world has different religion
because they try to understand Him. Calvinism is one way man understand God based on gnostic belief of
Augustine.

NONE THAT SEEKETH AFTER GOD, saved person is not commission to just sit, saved person
is commission TO GO INTO ALL THE WORLD. Because the world tried to understand God not base on
His word, and so it says in Romans 10 that FAITH COMETH BY HEARING, HEARING THE WORD
OF GOD, not BY UNDERSTANDING or hearing of NON-BIBLICAL BOOKS, or getting doctrines in
YOUTUBE.

WHY CAN’T THE BIBLE BE ENOUGH?
