PROCEDURA PER ESEGUIRE IL POLE TUNING – POLE TUNING PROCEDURE

Figura 11

1) Start menu “running mode” (show after boot)

2) Press PRG to access the main menu
3) Select the FUNCTION MODE menu with the DOWN button
4) Press SET to menu 2
5) Select the DATA CHECK menu with the DOWN button
6) Press SET to enter the menu
7) Modify the L03 parameter with DOWN (you can always jump between group of parameters by
pressing SHIFT and DOWN together)
8) Press SET to edit the L03 parameter
9) Edit the L03=4 parameter by pressing the UP button
10) Press SET to confirm the value
11) Choose the lift inspection mode and keep the up or the down floor button pressed
throughout the process; through the control panel the contactor must close contacts between
VVVF and motor. Input EN and FWD or REV must be active
12) The POLE TUNING process should start, which should be confirmed by a whine/noise coming
by the engine
13) Wait for the POLE TUNING process to finish. If no error appears the VVVF will memorize the
OFFSET value in the L04/electrical degrees parameter. If an error appears, release the up/down
floor button, press RESET and start over by step 1
14) Go back to the start menu “running mode” by pressing PRG
15) Try and activate the lift in inspection mode up and down, if it’s moving correctly the
procedure is over

8
EASY-TRONIC - MRL 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

NOTE: If when the lift is moving the warning “ERE” appears or the elevator doesn’t move
correctly, it’s probably needed to invert 2 phases of the engine (VVVF U/M4 with v/M5), check
the brakes and start the procedure over from step 1.

GEARLESS PARAMETERS SETTINGS

10
EASY-TRONIC - MRL 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

↓ = decrease value
↑ = increase value

Starting phase settings: change the settings in the following order, after having activated the
rollback (L65=1)

Parameter Description Default Vibrates Rollback Step

L68 Proportional rollback gain 2,5 ↓ ↑ 0,25
(= or > 38)
L69 Integral rollback gain 0,003 ↑ ↓ 0,001
(minimum 0,003)
L73 Rollback position gain 2 ↓ ↑ 0,5

Note 1: to avoid the start with the brakes still closed, F24 must be higher than the brake opening
mechanical time
Note 2: for the VVVF to execute correctly the handling of the anti-rollback, F24 must be 0,1
seconds higher than L66 (default F24=0,9 and L66=0,8)

High speed phase settings: execute in order

Parameter Description Default Vibrates Oscillates Step

L36 Proportional gain 2 ↓ ↑ 0,25

E12 Acceleration 2 ↑ 0,25

L24 S Curve 25 ↑ 5

L37 Integral gain 0,100 ↑ ↓ 0,010

11
EASY-TRONIC - MRL 3 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Low speed phase settings: execute in order

Parameter Description Default Vibrates Stops Step

L38 Proportional gain 2,5 ↓ ↑ 0,25

E13 Acceleration 2 ↑ 0,25

L26 S Curve 25 ↑ 5

L39 Integral gain 0,100 ↑ ↓ 0,010

C07 Low speed (5/10% of high ↓↑ ↑ 0,1

speed)

Nota 1: always verify that L40>C07 and L41<C11 to have fixed gains during phases of constant
speed. For example C07=1Hz and C11=10Hz, L40=2Hz and L41=9Hz

Stop phase settings: in order

Parameter Description Default Vibrates Doesn’t Step

hold at floor
L38 Proportional gain 2,5 ↓ ↑ 0,25

L39 Integral gain 0,100 ↑ ↓ 0,010

H67 Stop speed holding time 1 ↑ 0,25

F25=0,00Hz

Note 1: if the lift doesn’t hold at the floor, first off verify that it’s running on low speed; if you’re
unsure of this, halve the C11 high speed and verify that the lift is running at low speed for a few
seconds; then increase C11 gradually

Note 2: always verify that the main contactors are opening at least 1 second after the brake
contactors; this to allow to the VVVF to correctly execute the stop phase. If main contactors are
opening early you could experience the following malfunctions:
 If you hear a bang/noise from the motor, lower the H67 time
 If after stopping the lift “slips” up or down increase the H67 time
 If after stopping the lift slips AND you hear a noise, increase H67 time and increase the
breaking time of the main contactors
