The initial reaction rate of an enzyme-catalyzed reaction increase as the substrate

concentration increase. This is not a linear relationship, the initial reaction

rate reach maximum as substrate concentration increase to 4g and above.

The maximum initial reaction rate for this enzyme at pH7 is 350x10^6 number of
molecules of product formed per minute.

When under low substrate concentration, the amount of substrate is lower then the
amount of active site provided by enzymes. The active site is not saturated, once
the concentration of substrate increase until active site is saturated by
substrate, initial reaction rate reaches maximum.

My data indicate that the optimum pH level for this enzyme-catalyzed reaction is pH
7 since it gains highest initial reaction rate as compare to other pH value.

An organism undergoes a lot of enzyme-catalyzed reaction to sustain the process of

life. Without the working of enzyme, these enzyme-catalyzed reaction are not able
to proceed efficiently causing metabolism of organism can't sustain the life
process, organism can't survive.
Thus, the importance of temperature-regulating mechanisms in organisms is to
provide a stable temperature for enzymes, make sure enzymes working efficiently so
that metabolism is stable, organism is able to survive.
