The Principal Aims of Freemasonry

Freemasonry is a universal Order whose principles are: Love of Humanity, Relief and Striving for Justice and
Morality.

Members of the Order are drawn from various peoples of diverse religions who are guided by these
fundamental principles.

Freemasonry is a system of morality that preaches universal peace and mutual understanding.
Freemasons nurture the feelings of equality;:brotherhood and truth in their Lodges.
Freemasonry is not a secret society but a select one, having signs and symbols whose meaning is clear only to
its members.

Freemasonry is prepared to accept any man who:

a) Believes in God as the Grand Architect of the Universe.
b) Is 21 years old.
c) Is of virtuous character and courteous conduct.
d) Has sufficient means to live decently.
e) Has had a cultural background that will enable him to comprehend the doctrine of Freemasonry.
