Ingredients

֍ 2 ½ cups warm water

֍ 2 tbsp dry yeast
֍ 2 tbsp sugar
֍ 6 ½ cups flour
֍ 1 pinch salt
֍ 3 tbsp melted butter
֍ 3 tbsp margarine
֍ 5 slices of turkey
֍ 1 glass of warm milk

Utensils
֍ 2 metal mixing bowl
֍ Whisk
֍ Measuring cups
֍ Sieve
֍ Cloth to cover dough
֍ 2 small bread baking pan
֍ Pot
֍ Pan
֍ Pastry brush
֍ Metal spatula

Instructions
1. Place the warm water, yeast and 1 tbsp sugar in a mixing
bowl and stir with a whisk. Leave the yeast to “proof” for about
10-15 minutes. This will cause the mixture to produce bubbles.
If this doesn’t occur, the yeast is no good and you have to start
over.
2. With the sieve, sift 6 cups of flour into the other mixing
bowl. Add in the sugar, salt and melted butter and rub together.
3. Gradually pour in the yeast mixture and knead until you
have a soft dough. Cover with a cloth and leave to raise for 30-40
minutes.

4. Butter and flour the two pans and “punch out” the dough
and divide the dough in two and place inside of the pans. Allow
to raise for another 10 minutes.
5. Preheat the oven
to 375°C and bake for
40-50 minutes or until
golden brown.

6. Use the pastry

brush and glaze the
tops of the bread with
butter.

7. Cook the turkey

until brown and serve
with bread and warm
milk.
