Entrance Exam in Physics

• Admission conditions to the entrance exam

Students wishing to take the physics entrance examination at the Faculty of Engineering at the
Antonine University will have to have a general knowledge of physics and more particularly of
mechanics, electricity and magnetism, and Optics. Life Sciences or General Sciences is required to
have the level for admission to the competition.

The candidate will be examined on the following:

Part 1: Mechanics
• Mechanical Energy
• Momentum
• Angular momentum
• Mechanical oscillators
• Pendulum

Part 2: Electricity
• Electromagnetic induction
• RC dipole/ RL dipole

Part 3: Optics
• Wave Aspect of light
• Corpuscular Aspect of light
