Containing 6 up to 24 ITU-T G.652.D Compliant Single Mode Optical Fibers

GENERAL
The cable is gel-filled loose tubes, dry cable core type with aramid strength yarns, aluminum tape protection,
galvanized steel messenger wire as aerial support and has the HDPE UV resistant black outer jacket protection.
The cable is applicable for outdoor, installed on up to 100-m span for aerial networks.

REFERENCE STANDARDS
The offered fiber optic cables comply to ITU-T G.652 (Table D) recommendation and annexes. The offered cables are
also fully compliant to the relevant IEC specification, especially IEC 60793-2-50 B1.3, IEC 60794-3 and related TIA/
EIA standards.

- Fiber type is standard single mode according to ITU-T G.652.D recommendation
- FRP/ GRP, non-metallic, anti buckling central strength element
- Gel-filled thermoplastic loose buffer tubes (PC and PBT) to protect optical fibers from chemical reaction
- Each six fibers are inserted into the gel-filled thermoplastic loose buffer tubes
- The loose tube and plastic filler/ s are SZ-stranded around FRP/ GRP central element
- Water ingression protection using water blocking swellable material
- Aramid yarns as peripheral strength element
- Ripcord to ease jacket opening
- Aluminum tape longitudinally applied over the stranded loose tubes as moisture barrier
- Galvanised steel messenger wire 7 x Ø 1.2 mm
- Black UV resistant polyethylene (HDPE) jacket on cable core, bridge and messenger wire.

LOOSE TUBE STRANDING SEQUENCE
The coloured loose tubes and fillers are stranded in the following sequences base on the quantity of fibers in the cable.
- 6-fiber cable : blue, filler, filler, filler, filler.
- 12-fiber cable : blue, orange,filler, filler, filler.
- 24-fiber cable : blue, orange, green, brown, filler.

CABLE MARKINGS
The cable is printed with white-coloured markings as below format :

CABLE END-SEALING AND PACKING

Both cable ends are protected by means of heat shrinkable end caps then to be firmly attached to the cable drums. All
cables are packed in to delivery wooden drums with sufficient tags/ labels and test report.

STANDARD CABLE DELIVERY LENGTH

The optimum delivery length per drum is 2000 m. Specific delivery lengths may be produced upon request.
