As a new employee, you have several onboarding tasks to complete, including updating your Employee

Information in Inside Tesla. As of today, you are missing information which can result in issues with
payroll and prohibit you from enrolling in Tesla benefits.

Please take immediate action to login to Inside Tesla and update your required information today.

ACTIONS:
1) Once you login to Inside Tesla, click on View Profile (top right corner, under your picture)

2) Under Personal Details, click the pencil icon in the top right corner.

3) Using the chart below, review and update your profile.

4) Update the missing information on the personal details form and click Submit.

Common Errors Include:

Personal Details Required Information
Gender Cannot be blank
Marital Status Cannot be blank
Date of Birth Cannot be blank
Phone Number Cannot be blank
Citizenship Status* Cannot be blank. If you are a non-US citizen working in the US, see the
example below to click the drop down and select:
An Alien Authorized to Work. This will allow you to temporarily leave the
SSN blank if you have not yet received one.
(Note: once you receive your SSN, this field must be updated
immediately.)
 Social Security Number Cannot be blank. The box shows XXX-XX-XXXX, click the “eye” to reveal
(SSN) the contents. If incorrect or blank, enter your number.
(*If you are a non-US Citizen, see the box above to temporarily leave this
field blank.)
Address Line 1 Street address only with no special characters (do not include the city,
state or zip)
Address Line 2 Should be blank unless you have an apartment number or other
qualifying information. (Example, do not put: N/A or None)
City Cannot be blank
State If the state is written out, delete the contents and fill in with your 2-letter
state name.
Zip Cannot be blank. Canada: All letters must be capitalized with a space in
the center. (Example
L#L #L#.)

Phone Number Cannot be blank.
