Final Examination 2022

Name : Rajan Kujur

In the Epistle of James, James wrote with the authority one who had personally
seen the resurrected Christ, who was recognized as an associate of the apostle
and who was the leader of the Jerusalem church. He described the trails, tests
and temptations for believers in this Epistle and motivated to live Godly life.
According to James define trails, tests and temptations in this Epistle.
Blessed is the man who perseveres under trial, because when he has stood
the test, he will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those
who love him. But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is
dragged away and enticed.
The Purpose of Trials may be found to result in praise and glory and honour
at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” The trials in our lives test our faith, they
prove the genuineness of our faith which is “more precious than gold that
perishes.”
James describes how temptation works. Temptation originates from within
a person when desire drags him away and entices him. Temptation never
comes from God. It originates from our own desires, even good desires
that are deformed by sin or from the devil (1 Pet. 5:8-9), who seeks to
deceive and destroy us.
Tests are a means by which a soul is measured as to its fitness, and proven
out by its own acts. God knows its fitness beforehand, and also its
unpreparedness, but man, with an ego, would not believe himself unfit
unless proof were given him. God allows the trails, tests and temptations
because He wants us to be perfect like Lord Jesus Christ.
