Duties & Responsibilities:
🗸 Perform Nursing Assessment of all Medical & Surgical Patients, Plan,
Implement and Evaluate nursing care rendered.

 Nursing documentation in a brief, accurate and complete manner.

 Collect blood samples necessary for blood investigations.

 Taking ECG, perform I.V. Cannulation, I.V.F Therapy and blood transfusion.

 Insertion of Foleys Catheter and Nasogastric tube.

 Provide comfort measures to the patient.

 Maintaining 24 hrs Census

 Assessment and evaluation of patients condition before and after medication.

 Carry out the Doctor’s orders accurately.

 Responsible for checking & updating the emergency medications, general store items, crash
trolley, dressing trolley etc.

 Assist Physicians during minor procedures done on bedside such as CVP insertion,
tracheostomy, cut down, lumbar puncture and wound suture.

