Introduction

● FooDonor is a Food waste management.


● The FooDonor mobile applications serves as a conduit for food donations for
those in need between donors and organizations.
● NGO and Donor are the two types of users on FooDonor.
● Donors can ask for donations to NGOs when there is food waste as soon as
they ask for a message.
● Within the 30-minutes interval, the NGO will accept or reject the request
based on the situation.
● Then the Donor receives a notification for approval of request . By this food
waste can be managed efficiently.
Need for solving

Food is a essential part of human existence .

An Indian household, on average, wastes 50 kg of food every year. India's


contribution to wasted food, at 68.8 million tonnes annually, is 7% of the
globally

So it is essential to manage the food waste and make food available for needy
people .
Motivation

● As per the knowledge the technology is going advances and growing day by
day.
● Over main motivation is to help needy people.
● The idea behind over project can be used by many people who wish to
donate things to needy organizations.
Advantages

● Advantages will be both the restaurants(reducing food wastage),and the


needy people.
● Keep track of waste food for restaurant.
● User can play character in saving food wastage and help the needy people.
● Easy to use and user friendly.
● Food waste will be reduced.
Future Scope

● Also we extend our app to have many types of donating users likewise from
organizations such as restaurants,family or a single user.
● Adding the location facility to our apps.
● Adding the time and date of each snack shared by users.
● Making the app supports multiple platforms.
Conclusion

● Mobile application technology is helped for food waste management.


● The app objective to encourage better food management.
● Our proposed solution should reduce food waste by facilitating food sharing
in group using mobile techonolgy.
● This work is a first step towards design a better system to reduce daily food
waste.
