Objective
Artist and Research- Continuum of self investigation and embodiment of dynamic
movement aesthetics through the use of environmental stimulation and
interpersonal-societal relations. Contextualizing the black female dancing body in a
modern society. Somatic approaches to safety release technique through Bartenieff
Fundamentals and Klein Techniques.
Pedagogy- Facilitate and stimulate a learning curve that promotes ownership and
advocacy in the field. Establishing a progressive environment that is culturally responsive,
rigorous, and self reflective.
