An energetic, approachable and committed beginning teacher. My involvement and upbringing in dance inform my
perception of students. I know that ​all​are capable of learning and success. I am dedicated to students achieving the
highest standards possible across the dance and physical education curriculum.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Ellemercito Academy Private School Teacher for Family June 2020 - July 2021
● Created and implemented Kindergarten, 4th and 7th grade lesson plans simultaneously.
● Adapted curriculum to student learning and organized my days and time around giving each
student one on one attention.
● Assigned homework, prepared materials and monitored student progress daily.

Costa Mesa High School/Middle School Temporary Contracted - Dance Teacher March 11th 2020 - June 19th 2020
● Planned and organized daily lesson plans for middle school, high school, JV and Varsity dance classes.
● Met with students over Zoom twice a week where we practiced and studied a different style of dance every
two weeks. Choreographed dances or found online resources.
● Students explored and learned about Ballet, Hip Hop, Salsa, Jazz, Lyrical and ended with choreographing
their own dance over Emergency Distance Learning.

Portola High School Long Term Substitute - Dance Teacher August 2019 - January 2020
● Planned and organized daily lesson plans for beginning, intermediate and advanced dance classes.
● Directed the Winter Dance Concert, complete with choreographing dances, creating show programs and
posters, organizing student choreography rehearsals, managing all show finances and more.
● Choreographed all dance sections of the theater department’s musical, “Cinderella.”
● Collaborated with students and faculty on creating Performing Arts performances.
● Volunteered for football games, rallies, after school rehearsals and after school performances.

● Choreographed for the Winter Show and supervised backstage during the show days.

● Taught a variety of dance styles to students, aged 2-60 years old, ranging from beginner to advanced.
● Choreographed dances for the end of year recital.
