Regarding special measures for TOEFL ITP score submission for the Fall 2021 Overseas Student

Exchange Program application in response to the novel coronavirus

Considering the effects of the novel coronavirus, students who wish to apply to the Fall 2021
Departure Program with an existing TOEFL ITP score, but are unable to physically obtain their
scoresheet will not be required to submit their TOEFL ITP scoresheet to the APU Internal Screening.

Please submit your online application after carefully reading the following important points:

 If you have your TOEFL ITP scoresheet at hand, please upload a copy to your online application.
 If you do not have your TOEFL ITP scoresheet at hand, you will not be required to upload a copy
to your online application.
 In the event that you pass APU’s internal screening without submitting a copy of your TOEFL ITP
scoresheet, and your host university requires score submission at the time of applying to the
host university, you will receive a status of ‘Conditional Acceptance’. In this case, you will be
required to submit an English score that satisfies the ‘Language Requirements at the Time of
Applying to Host University’ to the Academic Office by the final score submission deadline. In
the event that you fail to submit a score that satisfies the requirements before the final score
submission deadline, your acceptance to the program will be revoked.
*The final score submission deadline is up to one week before the host university’s ‘Nomination
Deadline’ indicated in the ‘2021 Fall University List’ excel spreadsheet.
 In the event that you pass APU’s internal screening without submitting a copy of your TOEFL ITP
scoresheet, and your host university does not require score submission at the time of applying
to the host university, you will be officially accepted into the program without a status of
Conditional Acceptance.
 This special measure does not apply to TOEFL iBT and IELTS. If you wish to apply with a TOEFL
iBT or IELTS score but you do not have the original scoresheet at hand, please upload a
screenshot of your web score.
