FINE TUNED ENGLISH

Name: Mayerly Aponte

This is a part of an email you received from your English-speaking penfriend,

Toni.

I'd like to learn a language because I can only speak English. Do you think
language learning is easy? What's the best way to learn new words? I'd like
to learn your language. Can you suggest how I should start learning your
language?

Hi, Tony

It's great to hear from you. To start with, I have been studying Portuguese
since 2017 until these days and I can say that learning a new language is not
easy but it is not impossible, it is just a matter of being persistent and
having discipline, so I can give you some advice. to improve your way of
learning new languages.
What happens is that to get into this world of learning a new language, you must
know that you need enough time to study because you have to dedicate 30 minutes,
2 hours and even more.

In addition, something that helps me is to think in the new language and when
you don't understand something write in your notebook and then look for the
meaning but in the languages you are learning and as a last piece of advice,
love what you do because I swear, when you do the things with illusion
everything improves.
And if you want to learn my original language, start watching movies or series
in Spanish, some people find it easier to watch television than listen to
podcasts or the radio because they can see what is happening on the screen. I
believe that if you put your mind to it, you can do whatever you want, so go
ahead and take a risk.

Keep in touch,
Mayerly.
