MY INDIA, YOUR INDIA, OUR INDIA

In the land of colors, where cultures entwine,

Amidst sacred rivers and tales divine,

India, a subcontinent of ancient grace,

Unveils its essence in this poetic space.

Where the Ganges flows, a lifeline supreme,

Washes away sins in its mystical stream.

From the peaks of the Himalayas high,

To the sands of the Thar where camels lie.

A land where monsoons paint the earth,

Breathing life anew, in each rebirth.

The fragrance of jasmine fills the air,

As saris adorn women with elegant flair.

In bustling bazaars, a vibrant parade,

With jewel-encrusted fabrics on display.

Sounds of sitar and tabla intertwine,

Echoing through time, melodies divine.

In temples and mosques, prayers rise,

Seeking solace beneath sacred skies.

Ganesha, Krishna, and Shiva's might,

Their stories whispered, day and night.

Where festivals dance with fervent glee,

Holi's riot of colors, a jubilee.

Diwali's lights illuminate the night,

Celebrating victory over dark's might.

From the Vedas of ancient wisdom old,

To yoga's embrace, body and soul,

India's spirit transcends earthly realms,

Uniting hearts in eternal helms.

Yet, amid beauty, tales of struggle persist,

Caste divides and poverty's clenched fist.

A striving nation, surging with might,

Seeking unity, love, and equal light.

Oh, India! Land of contrasts profound,

Where tradition and progress astound.

May your spirit endure, forever strong,

An epic tale of resilience and song.

In this subcontinent's tapestry of lore,

May compassion and harmony restore,

A future where diversity finds its worth,

Unveiling the soul of a land rebirthed.
