VEHICLE: BMW SERIES 3 (Year 2012) with original remote control handset

ALARM POSITION: the siren should be installed in the engine compartment on the passenger’s side. The control
unit and the modules should be installed under the dashboard on the passenger’s side. For
the passage of wires use the originial loom in the engine compartment on the passenger’s

ALARM POWER SUPPLY it is advisable to connect directly to the battery terminals. Alternatively, for the positive connect
(GT RED and BROWN wires): to the RED wire of big section situated under the dashboard on the passenger’s side, while for
the negative connect to a vehicle original GND bolt. PHOTO 1 - 2.
INDICATORS connect the GT WHITE/RED wire to negative; connect a GT ORANGE wire to the
(GT WHITE/RED and ORANGE BROWN/BLUE wire (pos.31) in the 54 pin WHITE connector of the WHITE control unit behind
wires): the kick panel on the passenger’s side. PHOTO 3.
Note: move the dip-switch No.5 to ON position.
IGNITION SWITCHED LIVE connect to the GREEN/YELLOW wire (pos.2) from 0,50 mmq in the 54 pin WHITE connector
(GT YELLOW wire): of the WHITE control unit behind the kick panel on the passenger’s side. PHOTO 4.
Note: if an engine immobilisation is carried out or a GT satellite system is installed, this
wire must be always connected.

WARNING:
- IF THE VEHICLE IS ALREADY EQUIPPED WITH ORIGINAL ULTRASONICS FOR THE VOLUMETRIC PROTECTION DO
NOT CONNECT THEM WITH THE ALARM.

CAN BUS CONNECTIONS

CAN BUS HIGH connect to the ORANGE/GREEN wire in the 54 pin WHITE (pos.34) or BLACK connector
(GT ORANGE/GREEN wire): (pos.52) of the WHITE control unit situated behind the kick panel on the passenger’s side.

CAN BUS LOW connect to the GREEN wire in the 54 pin WHITE (pos.33) or BLACK connector (pos.51) of the
(GT ORANGE/BROWN wire): WHITE control unit situated behind the kick panel on the passenger’s side. PHOTO 3.

IMPORTANT:
The signals relative to the arming/disarming by the vehicle original handset and doors, boot, bonnet opening are read
from the vehicle CAN BUS, therefore THEY MUST NOT BE CONNECTED TO THE RELATIVE WIRES.

ELECTRIC WINDOWS

ELECTRIC WINDOWS: this function is managed by the vehicle original remote control handset.
