The Road Not Taken

By Robert Frost

The poet identified him as a traveler who arrived at two roads that forked in the middle of a yellow
forest.

Traveler regrets not being able to use both roads at the same time.

Because the traveler was walking alone, he stood there wondering where to go.

The traveler looking down one road for a long time.

The traveler wants to see where the road turns in the bushes.

the traveler decided to take another path that seemed just as good,

actually, this path he has chosen looks better.

The road was covered with grass. Looks like not many people stepped on it.

However, it was only while crossing the path that the traveler realized.

the travelers realize that both paths are equally obsolete.

that morning both the roads were equally covered.

no human foot is stepped on the road, so the leaves covering them hadn’t turned black.

The traveler exclaims that he has decided to try the first road on a different day!

but he knows that one path always leads to another new path,

The traveler doubted if he'd ever be required to come back to the first road he'd decided not to use.

The traveler said that in his last years, he would sigh every time he remembered the choice he made.

he will talk about his experiences many years later.

he would tell people that he would find two separate paths, he had made his decision then.

the traveler chooses a path that has not been used by many people,

his choices have made him the person or poet he was destined to be.
