1. Gather a number of counters (10-30) at the front of the class and announce the total
amount of counters to the class.
2. With your students’ eyes closed, take one, two or as many pieces of paper as you like and
hide an equal number of the counters under each piece of paper.
3. Your students need to guess how many counters are under each piece of paper.
