MRI - BRAIN (PLAIN)
PROTOCOL
AXIAL: T1, T2, FLAIR, DWI, GRE. SAG, CORONAL: T2.

FINDINGS:

Carpus callosum – atrophy noted at body and splenium with partial agenesis.

Mild cerebellar vermis hypoplasia with enlargement of retrocerebellar subarachnoid space


communicating with IV ventricle.- Dandy walker variant (mild form)

Rest of the cerebral parenchyma shows normal signal intensity.

Bilateral basal ganglia and thalami are normal.

Rest of the ventricular system is normal.

Extracerebral CSF spaces are normal.

No evidence of space occupying lesions or extra axial fluid collections.

Intracranial vascular flow voids are normal.

Brainstem is normal.

Sella, pituitary gland and cavernous sinuses are normal. Clavarium is normal.

CP angles and internal auditory canals are normal.
