Introduction

Often heard from managers is the statement, "Our people are our most valuable resource."

This remark emphasizes the significance of employees in an organization. They can identify

how they enhance organizational productivity through human capital by relating these

concepts to organizational behavior theories and practices (Stephen Walston, 2017).

Human capital refers to a company's workforce's skills, potential, and knowledge. It's

important to realize that employees are valuable and essential to the company's success.

Theories of Organizational Behaviour:

Performance supervision

Defining employee performance assessment methods including setting objectives, providing

feedback, and doing performance reviews helps HR. It makes sure that workers are following

the goals of the company(Wienclaw, Ruth A., Salem Press Encyclopedia, 2021)

Worker involvement

It helps HR create methods for inspiring and involving employees, such as recognition

programs, including them in decision-making, and presenting possibilities for career growth.

It focuses on developing a supportive work environment instead of paying workers

(Wienclaw, Ruth A., Salem Press Encyclopaedia, 2021).

Training

Organizational behavior makes the development of training programs that improve

employees' abilities possible. These courses include essential topics such as teamwork,

diversity, inclusion, and communication. Training people to fulfil individual needs also helps

to know how people learn differently.

Culture

A great positive work environment at a company is created by organizational behavior study.

It involves methods focusing on the welfare of employees, trust, and a common future goal.

Since everyone is different, organizational behavior aids in bringing people together,

combining different personalities, and fostering harmony among individuals for a common

objective. Improving organizational effectiveness through human capital.Human capital

refers to a person's knowledge, abilities, and character traits. Because it increases

organizational success, it's valuable (Ngo, H., Foley, S., & Loi, R., 2009). Many companies

now understand the importance it is to help individuals advance their expertise and abilities.

Services bringing out human capital are now essential for establishing and maintaining an

advantage over the competition. Human capital today plays an essential part in the whole

economy thanks to the idea of a knowledge-based economy.

Through these aspects, human capital greatly influences an organization's success:

Creativity: For businesses to succeed, they must be flexible and generate new ideas.

Building a workforce capable of being innovative and developing new ideas is essential for

generating human capital.

Knowledge: Successful businesses value expertise and employ it to expand their business.

They use their staff's technological knowledge and talents to improve things.

Value: Businesses looking for new hires want people who can provide value by developing

and carrying out innovative concepts. Workers may increase productivity and significantly

contribute by giving them the proper training and motivation.

Rate of retention: Refers to how many employees a company keeps on staff. When a

company gives its employees the ability to advance their careers, they are more prepared to

stay, which results in dedicated workers. An employee who has been with a company for

several years becomes used to the procedures and works more effectively Bussin, M. (2018).

Conclusion

The effectiveness of our organization can be significantly increased by valuing our people

and putting organizational behavior principles into practice. Acknowledging and using it, we

establish a productive work environment that encourages development, creativity, and

teamwork. Increased productivity, improved decision-making, higher employee satisfaction,

and a competitive edge in the market are all results of maximizing the talents of our

employees, which is made possible by strategies like performance management, employee

engagement, training, and organizational culture shaping. We can realize our employees' full

potential and create a foundation for long-term success by investing in and valuing them.
