SUBJECT Revised Pay Item Subscripts under Item 1047 - Metal

Structures

In order to ensure uniformity in the adoption of Pay Items of Work to be used in the
preparation of the Design Plans and Quantities, Program of Works (POW) and Approved
Budget for the Contract (ABC) for infrastructure projects nationwide, the updated Pay Item
Subscripts under Item 1047 - Metal Structures indicated herein are hereby prescribed for this
purpose which are now included in the Project and Contract Management Application (PCMA)
Pay Item Library and shall form part of the DPWH Standard Specifications for Public Works
Structures (Volume III).

This memorandum shall take effect immediately and shall supersede the Pay Item subscripts
listed in memorandum dated September 16, 2019 (Memo 097.7_081619) - DPWH Standard
Specification for Item 1047 - Metal Structures and DPWH Standard Specifications for Public
Works Structures, Volume III, 2019 Edition. However, the following superseded Pay Items
prior to this issuance shall still be in effect for projects already bid out/awarded/contracted,
and with approved Plans, POW and ABC:
