Many years ago, it was not common for people to have their own television sets. Only
the rich could afford to buy them. People only listened to the news on radios. Now, every
family has a television at home. People can watch the news on televisions or they can surf
the Internet.

Schools were very small in the old days. Some of them were even built on the roof of
buildings. The environment was not good at all. Now, schools are much bigger and there
are many facilities such as basketball courts and swimming pools. Students are lucky to
have such a good learning environment.

Moreover, children did not have many toys fifty years ago. They played hopscotch
or hide-and-seek together. Sometimes, children made little rice bags or bean bags to play
with. Nowadays, children have different kinds of toys at home. They can play games on
their tablet too!
