SECTION A

PLEASE READ THE SENTENCES AS PER INSTRUCTIONS.


• A set of sentences will appear on the left side of your monitor.
• After every cue you need to recite the sentence and then wait for the next cue.
• Speak only when you see the “SPEAK NOW”

TIPS:
• Read casually. Do not become nervous or highly conscious of the pronunciation.
• Always speak in normal conversational speed for reading sentences.
• Avoid your breathing voice to be heard over call, make sure microphone is a little far from mouth.

Example:
• A voice prompt will instruct you to read the sentences.
1. Mary went to the Market.
2. Mary had a little lamb.

SECTION B

PLEASE REPEAT THE SENTENCES YOU HEAR.


• Sentences will be read one after the other.
• You must listen and recite back the sentences exactly without any flaw.
• You will only get one chance to hear a sentence.
• Speak only when you see the “SPEAK NOW”

TIPS:
• As the sentences will not be repeated, try to focus as much as possible.
• It is recommended take down notes while listening.
SECTION C

FREE SPEECH PART OF THE EXAM.


• You will be given one (1) random topic from the list below: The name of the topic is repeated twice.
Airport
School Playground
Crowded Market
Recent place the you’ve visited
Flood
Hospital
Resort
• You will be given 30 second time to think about the topic.
• After 30 seconds, you will hear a beep. You must speak about the topic for the next 45 seconds.

TIPS:
• Recommended to jot down points you would like to speak for the given topic.
• Make sure that your answer is related to the topic.
• The goal is to consume (45 seconds) allotted to answer.
• Think of your own creative way to extend the sentence.

Example:
• Instead of saying “I applied for a CSR job in Concentrix” say, “I applied for a CSR, TSR, Non-voice and
Backoffice job in Concentrix.”
• Instead of saying, “He works on weekdays” say,”He works on Monday, Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,
and Friday.” That strategy is termed as “listing”

SECTION D

LISTEN CAREFULLY TO A CONVERSATION.


• You will hear a conversation for about 1 min to 2 mins
• You must listen to the conversation carefully.
• A set of questions will be based on the conversation you just heard.

TIPS:
• It is recommended to keep a notepad to jot down important points in the conversation.
• It is recommended take down notes while listening.
SECTION E

GRAMMAR
• You must choose the right grammatically correct sentence.

TIPS:
• Analyze your answer before submitting
• Once you identify that a particular option is correct, make a note of the option in notepad. This will
help you not get confused with the other options.

Example:
• Which of the following sentences is grammatically correct?
1. Casey were eating ice-cream
2. Casey was eating ice-cream
3. Casey had eating ice-cream
4. Casey is ate ice-cream

SECTION F

VOCABULARY
• This section will test your vocabulary

EXAMPLE:
• What is the synonym for the word Huge?
1. Heavy
2. Large
3. Tiny
4. Little
